Who we are

HAMARA GAON IS A CAMPAIGN RUN BY PRATHAM. AS PART OF THAT WE INVOLVE MAXIMUM COMMUNITY MEMBERS PARTICULARLY MOTHERS IN CHILDREN'S EDUCATION BY ORGANISING CHILDREN LIBRARY GROUPS IN THE COMMUNITY.

Our work and its impact

PRATHAM EDUCATION FOUNDATION Founded on the belief that every child must have the opportunity to go to school and learn, Pratham is now one of India’s largest non-governmental organizations in the education sector. From our beginnings in the slums of Mumbai to a national organization operating in 23 states and union territories, Pratham remains steadfastly committed to the mission of “every child in school and learning well”.

How we will utilise these books

As part of Hamara Gaon programme we reach to the schools, communities; orient innovative and evidence based methodology to the people like teachers, volunteers, mothers etc.. who can help children in their education. In this process we organise children groups in each street of the village encourage all children to work in groups with provided reading materials. so that every child will get support from other siblings, teachers, mothers and finally every child become fluent reader which leads to perform well in further education. finally whole village become educated village. Provided funds will be utilised to provide library books and they will be distributed, in schools and communities, particularly in children groups. where children can spend some time in groups, do reading and fun educational activities. with the help of group leaders and mothers.
