Who we are
Students in our school are from low-income communities. To get students to read is a challenge for us and we are the only ones who guide and support them in their academic endeavors. Chaitanya's Reading Book club will sharpen reading and comprehension skills of our children. Here, we engage students with joyful reading materials and help them inculcate reading habits. Towards this end, we are exploring options to set up a library and run a book club. As we all know, "reading for pleasure is a door towards success".
Our work and its impact
Camp Education Society was established in 1885 by a few social workers from different walks of life. Camp Education Society was started with the sole motto of providing high-quality education to children at an affordable price.
How we will utilise these books
Our mission is to provide free and quality education to people from underserved and underprivileged communities and to improve scholastic skills of our children. Most children are first-generation learners and education is their family's chance to break the circle of poverty. We are striving towards making India the land of highly qualified and skilled people. The funds will be utilized to procure books for students to read and enhance their skills while inculcating reading habits in them. In today's competitive world we want our students to conquer their adversities through reading skills and activities. Quoting Fran Lebowitz, "Think before you speak. Read before you think."
