Know more about us

Who we are

We are 1700 students of age group 5 years to 17 years studying in Naval Academy, a low-budget school in Kushinagar Uttar Pradesh. We come from lower-income families and the school has a waived the fee of 35% students while rest pay INR 300 - 400 per month. We require books for our school library as we wish to read more, learn more and excel in life. Help us become book worms.

Our work and its impact

Naval Seva Sansthan was started by a doctor in 2001 to address the crisis of school education in Kushinagar, one of the most backward districts of UP. As government schools have failed to provide quality education started from just 10 students today school has over 1700 students from KG to Class 12th. In schools, our major focus is on female education so that no female student may dropout. Our students have the urge to learn more.

How we will utilise these books

We have evolved our teaching methods as per the aspirations of our students. We believe in positive change and the overall development of these students. Books will help them in tracing what is happening around, cultural diversities and meaningful life lessons. We aim to utilize these funds to set up libraries in every classroom. Each child will have access to books in their own classroom. Through this, we will also help in setting up student-led classroom book clubs where children will read, debate and exchange ideas. This will benefit not only 1700 students but upcoming generations in the school.
