Who we are
Little Angels Nursery and Primary School was founded in June 1999 with the objective of reaching out to underprivileged children from rural areas and to provide them a good basic education in the English medium
Our work and its impact
The school which started in the village of Koluthvancheri in the outskirts of the city with just 28 children and two teachers now has 819 children 34 teachers and 9 non teaching staff.In the year 2007, a second branch of the school was started in the village of Somangalam beyond Kundrathur .The school has a strength of 376 students.
How we will utilise these books
Little Drops which cares for over 1000 elderly destitute in different centres across Tamil Nadu and one centre in Karnataka branched out to educating underprivileged children through the Little Angels Schools which have over 1200 children in three schools in Tamil Nadu. The funds will be used to create a beautiful learning environment for the students of our school. We will use the books for a library and for the reading time in school.
