Who we are
Aagaz primarily works in the low-income areas of Jaipur. Around 500 financially challenged children are coming for learning enhancement for their Science Math and English within 5 centers. The project’s main objective is to reach out to promote reading and develop stronger analytical thinking skills in children. We found that there is a need to provide a platform for children to read books at their local place because schools of these areas do not have a concept of a library itself.
Our work and its impact
Aagaz Samajik Vikas Sansthan is a non-profit community based organization started in the year 2010. The prime objective of this centre“Empowering community through learning”. It is an organization, working for providing quality education to underprivileged children.
How we will utilise these books
The prime objective of this organization is to provide a platform for learning without any barriers. We use computers, TV, and Educational software designed by different organizations for improving leaning levels of children. The learning enhancement classes conducted in the centres for the age group 6-16 years children. We cover Science, Math & English Subjects because children need learning support to improve in these subjects. Currently we are working with 500 children and as per the evaluation report they are progressing in their academic subjects. We want to create a library, and these books will be used to stock up the library
