In 2017 ARHI have been able to get book donations for two classroom Libraries in tribal areas of Morigaon and Nagaon.The present project is an extension of the existing classroom libraries where 10 new libraries will be set up in Karbi Anglong and Morigaon district.The Target children will be tribal children of far flung remote areas.The project is very crucial for developing reading habits in that area where no libraries exist till now
Our work and its impact
ARHI was established in 2008 ,based in Nagaon Assam with a small stuff of 5 people.
How we will utilise these books
ARHI mission is to provide access to quality education by developing reading habits among children of tribal areas where no such library exists.We also run Indigenous Language Revitalisation program in rural areas ARHI will set up 8 community libraries in Karbi Anglong and Morigaon district.We will plan to introduce weekly reading program after the setting up of libraries
