Who we are
ur school is a government higher secondary school, situated in a very interior village where 400 above students pursue their education. Our school was awarded as the best school of Trichy district by the collector by analysing all the aspects and efforts of our school. Our students don't have books in English to read other than the text books. To encourage the habit of reading in English we need books. Our school library successfully runs with the huge involvement of the students. Last year 758 books were drawn and returned by them. It is the highest no of issues.
Our work and its impact
I am a graduate teacher in English hailing from the near by village of our school. I got some better chance to improve my language in the later years. Now i would like to give it in the early years
How we will utilise these books
I am the in charge of our school library. When I took charge the books were locked in the cupboards and the reading room was dumped with broken benches. I settled a good library and brought into usage. Last three years the students read and enjoy If the fund is given or raised I would spend all the money to buy books.
