Who we are

Under its Mission Compassion 'THE - SARA' is carrying out 'Share With Schools' initiative through children of Government schools across J&K are supported time to time with books, note books & stationary stuff. Through our previous Campaigns we contributed a Library Kit to Govt. Primary School Village langer Jammu & Govt. Middle School Ismailpur Jammu.


Our work and its impact

'THE - SARA' is the J&K based Registered Non-Profit Organization working on various humanitarian issues. THE - SARA is a non-religious, non-political and non-sectarian organization formed by a group of like minded people. The diverse group consists of Doctors, Businessmen, Artists, Housewives, Engineers, Teachers and Retired Government Employees. 'THE - SARA' is Registered under the Societies Registration Act, VI of 1998 (1941 A.D) Registration Certificate No.JRS-690 of 2012 issued under No.JRS-690/280 dated 21.08.2012


How we will utilise these books

'THE - SARA' works on various issues like : 1. Crisis Support – services that provide immediate support to individuals at times of difficulty in their lives, and support for communities in the recovery of major events. 2. Suicide Prevention – services that educate individuals and communities about suicide and offer appropriate support for those people who are at risk of Suicide or Bereaved by Suicide. 3. Mental Health Support – services that provide support for people experiencing mental illness and which offer reliable information and self help resources to empower people to take steps towards maintaining mental health and emotional well-being. 4. Mission Compassion – services that provide basic health care, free education, free clothing and free food through compassionate approach. 'THE - SARA' under Mission Compassion aims to set up library in Government Middle School Village Spalwan Kathua Jammu located on India - Pakistan International Border. 70 students from poor financial background shall benefit from this campaign. Time & again these school children suffer owing to Border Migration due to cross border exchange of fire between India & Pakistan. CONTRIBUTE & SUPPORT
