Who we are
We are a set of 22 animals waiting to explore the endless sea of reading and learning. We would love to read more books of our preferred language and reading levels and one step more. Help us in this journey of learning.
Our work and its impact
Swathi Chinnasamy, a Teach For India fellow. As a first year fellow in anew school, I teach young 7-8 year olds(2nd grade). I have recently found out my kids are in love with books. But the school does not have a library or any facilities for reading other than the material prescribed by the board.
How we will utilise these books
My work is that of a leader. So as a leader I wish to create more leaders who are independent problem solvers. Leaders for themselves, for people and the society. As they read and become aware, these leaders would be the solutions to all the problems you see. The funds would be solely used only to set up the library in class. From procuring books to setting up the right spaces alone.
