Who we are
Ranging from Grade I to Grade V, CPS Velachery students belonging to economically vulnerable backgrounds, do not have access to reading quality books. In order to create a vibrant reading atmosphere in our school, to cater to the needs of about 700 students, we are in the process of setting up a Library with inputs gained from an organisation called Storytime. Kindly contribute and help our students become Readers for Life!

We are a group of 4 Fellows from Teach For India, working at Chennai Primary School, Velachery as full-time Teachers.
How we will utilise these books
Everyday of our Fellowship journey is spent in striving to mould young minds, in creating opportunities for them, in ensuring that their curiosity is quenched. This contribution of serving underprivileged schools, we strongly believe, is a small yet significant step towards eliminating educational inequity in our country. The funds will be utilized to ensure that the students get access to quality books of a wide variety from an organisation as reputed as Pratham.
