Who we are
“The Village Library Project” initiated by People Against Corruption (PAC), a non-profit organization which is focused on Corruption in Private and Public Sector, Right To Information Act, Education, Health Care and Employment for Rural People.
Our work and its impact
PAC has successfully established 2 Libraries in the KADAPA District of Andhra Pradesh. PAC is active in organising in awareness programmes about RTI Act, Corruption, Education. PAC has been working with Govt officials for getting more and more approvals for establishment of libraries in remote villages.
How we will utilise these books
Through this project, we are building community libraries for Children, youth in remote Indian villages. Our vision is to ignite in each and every child living in a remote Indian village a deep curiosity and insatiable hunger for knowledge and adventure. We will achieve this by exposing each child to as many books as possible, beautiful and useful books that will stimulate their imagination beyond their immediate villages, to a global village with limitless opportunities. Helping children to cultivate a truly independent mindset, while enjoying the wonder of books. This will definitely helps to decrease unemployment in rural villages. Books and Library Infrastructure
