Who we are
We work on rural school (govt/ tribal and private- low income) transformation which includes content creation, teacher training and infrastructure development. This campaign is to help set up 2 school libraries - one in Government Higher Primary School Rathnapuri and the other in CKM Higher Primary School, Rathnapuri.
Our work and its impact
TGMP is a conservation and education focussed organisation working with communities on creating solutions for human-wildlife conflict through education and livelihood management.
How we will utilise these books
We work on several conservation projects and our work is largely through education. This includes introducing conservation in curriculum and giving school children the skills and platform to change their communities' practices and outlook towards wildlife. The funds will be utilized to source books for 2 rural schools that we are working with. We will be helping them create inspiring spaces, brining in the required infrastructure and setting up systems. There will be storytelling and reading workshops conduct on a regular basis in both spaces.
