Who we are
We would love to set up a library at our learning difficulty clinic. To inculcate joy of reading in our kids,this library set up would be essential.Help our children to become avid readers, for reading can build confidence in them.
Our work and its impact
Learning difficulty (LD) clinic at Chetana Child development centre,Mangalore is a unique flagship project under Seva Bharathi trust. This was set up to support children overcome learning difficulties.
How we will utilise these books
At our LD clinic we believe that its the right of every child to learn different concepts in different ways. There is no one way to teach or learn.Reading is one of the ways through which we would like our children to learn different objectives. This exercise would help our children become avid readers and inturn help them to reduce or bridge their academic achievement gap. The library set up in our classroom/clinic will cater to all the children who have enrolled in our LD programme.
