How we will utilise these books

My work as Program Manager is to train/coach teachers on how to teach in a low income community. I help in making sure that every child gets an excellent education irrespective of their economic and social background. Students from low income communities who get access to an excellent education from an early age have already shown that they can match their economically superior counterparts if now do better than them in most fields. Our vision is 'One day all children will attain an excellent education'. The Library-in-a-Classroom book sets will go to two schools in Ahmedabad where there are a lot of students and an empty room which can be converted into a library. We already have one principal's permission on starting a library in his school. All the other individual books will go to different classrooms in other Teach For India schools in Ahmedabad. Marathi books will be sent to Teach For India schools in Mumbai.
