Who we are

Anveshana Foundation is a non-profit NGO established in 2004, working towards improving education and community development in rural areas with the mission statement “Towards Educational, Social & Environmental Reconstruction for a Quality Life”

Anveshana Foundation works in rural areas, especially in Mandya district, focusing on children’s education. Our work helps improve educational opportunities for underserved communities and empowers children with skills and confidence for a better future.

Our work and its impact

Anveshana Foundation works towards “Educational, Social & Environmental Reconstruction for a Quality Life” by creating meaningful educational opportunities for children in rural communities.

One of its key initiatives is St. Mira’s Inclusive Convent (SMIC), established in 2010 to provide quality English-medium formal education to the children of farmers, including first- and second-generation learners. The school aims to equip students with strong academic foundations along with awareness of sustainable agricultural practices, helping them build better livelihoods while reducing migration to cities. Located in Sujjlur village near Malavalli in Mandya district, around 140 km from Bangalore, the school provides a safe, inclusive, and joyful learning environment for children from underserved communities.

Over the years, the foundation has impacted more than 11,000 students and 5,500 teachers through initiatives focused on quality education, teacher training, life skills development, and English learning for rural children.

Through our initiatives we help rural children gain confidence, improve learning outcomes, and access opportunities that can positively transform their futures and communities.

How we will utilise these books

The procured storybooks will be used to help children of farmers and differently abled children develop reading, comprehension, and communication skills. The stories will also be used in interactive learning activities such as:

    -Role play
    -Puppet shows
    -Group storytelling sessions

These activities are designed to encourage children to enjoy reading, improve comprehension, and build confidence in expression and participation.
