Our work and its impact

Over the past five years, with the support of Child Help Foundation and Roots to Branches Foundation, our team has worked closely with government primary schools to create inclusive, interactive, and child-friendly learning spaces. Through storytelling, hands-on activities, digital tools, and visual aids, our school-based libraries have become vibrant hubs of creativity and imagination—sparking curiosity, building student confidence, and strengthening community ties.

These libraries have transformed traditional classrooms into dynamic centers of joyful learning, stocked with 100–1000 curated books and enriched through weekly sessions and strong community involvement. The initiative has nurtured reading habits, imagination, teamwork, and a love for lifelong learning among young learners.

We conduct structured two-hour sessions using library resources as tools for exploration, along with monthly engagement sessions involving parents, teachers, and students to deepen community participation. Teachers receive capacity-building training on vibrant library practices, ensuring sustainability. After two years of implementation, ownership is handed over to the schools, empowering them to continue the initiative independently.

Our work demonstrates that when education moves beyond textbooks and becomes joyful, inclusive, and participatory, children respond with enthusiasm, creativity, and confidence—laying the foundation for a more equitable and empowered society.
