My name is Sulekha, and I am a teacher from a small rural village, Nagla Shroti Dabrai. Along with teaching at school, I also provide free education to children at my home—most of them come from low income families. Some of these children have even been involved in child labour as their parents depend on their help for daily survival, making regular schooling difficult.

Through this fundraiser, I want to gift the joy of reading to these children and others in my community. The funds raised will help us set up a small community library—a safe and accessible reading space where every child, including those engaged in work, can come and read whenever they want.
