Who we are

eVidyaloka is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing quality digital education to children in rural India. Our mission is to bridge the educational gap in remote communities by leveraging technology and the support of passionate volunteers. So far, we have impacted over 200,000 students across 900+ villages in India, and we are committed to transforming the lives of many more.


Our work and its impact

At eVidyaloka, we believe that education is the key to unlocking a child's potential. For over a decade, we have been working to bring quality digital education to students in rural India. By connecting local schools with dedicated volunteers from around the world, we ensure that children in remote areas gain access to the education they deserve—education that would otherwise remain out of reach. Our work enables these students to build skills and knowledge that help them break the cycle of poverty, gain confidence, and achieve their full potential.


How we will utilise these books

Through this fundraiser we aim to distribute storybooks from Pratham Books to children in rural India, giving them the chance to experience the magic of stories.

Your contribution will help:

    -Provide classrooms with storybooks that reflect diverse voices and culturally relevant narratives.
    -Build a strong foundation for creativity, and self-expression.
These storybooks will not only be used during classroom instruction but will also be incorporated into reading programs to encourage self-directed learning.  In regions where access to educational resources is limited, these books will become a vital tool in nurturing curiosity and fostering a love for reading. By cultivating a culture of reading, we aim to empower children to think creatively, improve their language skills, and gain the confidence needed to succeed in school and beyond. These storybooks will play a significant role in shaping the futures of young learners in rural India, providing them with the foundational skills to thrive.
