I am raising funds to build a library in memory of my late father, Shri Rambriksh Rai, a Head Teacher in the Municipal Corporation of Mumbai. He loved reading and often said that books are true friends who never leave you alone. His dream was to create a reading centre where everyone could enjoy books, but he passed away before fulfilling it. I am now trying to establish a library as a heartfelt tribute to him on his death anniversary in October.

The books raised through this fundraiser will help build a library filled with joyful and engaging storybooks for the students of Sant Kakkaya Marg Mumbai Public School, Dharavi, Mumbai located in one of Asia’s largest slums. Giving the children access to stories, inspiring a love of reading, and creating a space where imagination and learning can thrive.
