Who we are
RIO Foundation, established in 2023 and registered under the Trust Act in Badvel, Andhra Pradesh, is dedicated to ensuring access to education for every child in rural areas. We provide essential educational support to underserved communities. So far, we have organised small events in government schools and recently launched free weekend tutorials for children. We are now working towards setting up a small library in an underprivileged locality to support school students.
Our work and its impact
At RIO Foundation, we strive to improve lives by addressing essential needs such as food, healthcare, education, environmental conservation, and the preservation of places of worship in rural areas like Bagepalli and Badvel. Through these efforts, we aim to reduce poverty, promote learning, and build stronger, more resilient communities. We believe that sustainable development begins with empowering individuals and families at the grassroots level. By working closely with local communities, we ensure that our initiatives inclusive, and tailored to their unique needs. Our goal is to create lasting change that uplifts not only the present generation but also those to come.
How we will utilise these books
The storybooks procured through this fundraiser will be placed in our free-access small community library that will serve children from underprivileged backgrounds. This includes school-going children who may have limited access to reading materials at home or in school. The library will be a safe, inclusive space that fosters a love for reading, improves language skills, and nurtures imagination and critical thinking. By introducing children to a wide range of stories and perspectives, we hope to broaden their worldview and encourage empathy, creativity, and curiosity. In the long run, we envision the library becoming a vibrant hub for learning, sharing, and community-building in the neighborhood.
