Who we are

Kokan Kala va Shikshan Vikas Sanstha, established in 2012, dedicated in improving the life for underserved communities through education and medical facilities. The organisation helps underprivileged children and promotes education, village development, support for orphanages, disaster relief support and medical support for children with severe illnesses. Having access to national associations of expertise and a wide network of partnerships enables us to deliver broad-based outcomes to a variety of stakeholders. We believe in creating meaningful change by ensuring education and healthcare reach every corner of our society.


Our work and its impact

At Kokan Kala Va Shikshan Vikas Sanstha, we believe that every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and succeed. This year, we aim to support over 5,500 children by providing school kits filled with essential learning materials.

Each school kit is more than just notebooks and pencils—it represents hope, opportunity, and empowerment. Our mission aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

Our focus is on reaching children in rural and low-income urban areas, helping them unlock their potential and believe in a brighter future.


How we will utilise these books

Through this campaign, funds raised will be used to distribute children’s storybooks from Pratham Books to children in need. We aim to expand into 20 more districts in Maharashtra, further bridging the divide and connecting marginalised children to meaningful opportunities through joyful reading. These books will serve as a valuable resource to strengthen reading habits and foster imagination and curiosity. This initiative will directly impact 2,000 children who lack access to basic reading resources—especially those who have been unable to pay school fees.
