Who we are
Sai Spandana Digi school was created with a motto to create orphan less society and 100% literacy in slum areas. At present, it shelters 150 children up to the age of 14 and delivers quality education to 500 students up to grade 9.We are in urgent need of funds to set up a library in our school to enhance the learning of these kids. Kindly help these kids to become readers for life.
Our work and its impact
Sai Seva trust is a pioneering effort that has envisioned a roof for orphans, bringing smiles on their faces and letting them know someone cares.Started in 2002 and now with around 20 board members, Sai Seva Trust provides shelter, food, education and clothing to around 500 underprivileged kids in a homely atmosphere of an orphanage in Warangal. It was started with a vision of creating orphan less society and achieving 100% literacy in slum areas. We have an integrated Orphanage and Old age home, enabling an exchange of love and affection between elders and young kids.
How we will utilise these books
At Sai Spandana trust we aim at celebrating the lives of marginalized kids and senior citizens by providing them a joyful environment. In our endeavour for achieving our goal, we have set up Swami Vivekananda Orphanage - To extend a helping hand to orphans and create confidence among them to live elegantly and morally. Sai Spandana Digi School - To impart education to children for molding them into potential and meaningful civilians. Rama Krishna Paramahamsa Old age home - To look after the elderly people with love, affection, reverence, and comforts. At present it provides education to 500 children (150 orphans) with free Bus service and shelter to 10 old age persons and 100 kids Sai Seva trust plans to utilize these funds to set up a library that hosts at least 5000 books.We are also planning to have 10 in class library (LIC) that will help students to have easy access to books on a day to day basis.
