Who we are
We are a group of 150 students studying in two government schools in Hyderabad. We would love to have a library in our classrooms to explore the world through books. Help us become readers for life, expand our knowledge beyond our textbooks.
Our work and its impact
I am a social worker. I engage with a lot government schools in the Bahadurpura mandal of Old city, Hyderabad. I work towards building capacities of government schools through various interventions.
How we will utilise these books
I have been working as a social worker for the past 7 years. I believe in strengthening public education systems through continuous engagement with various stakeholders. I truly believe in the power of education as a tool to empower under privileged sections of the society. The funds will be utilized to procure grade specific Telugu and English books in 2 primary schools GPS Doodhbowli and GPS Tattikoka. These schools are located in Bahadurpura, Old City, Hyderabad. The teachers in both schools are extremely committed and require additional support to revive the existing libraries in their respective schools.
