Who we are
Kanbi Foundation is a Navi Mumbai-based non-profit organisation, established under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. The foundation is CSR-registered and ISO 9001 certified, reflecting its dedication to quality and impactful societal contributions. Our mission spans a broad range of social causes, including community development, education, environmental sustainability, and the upliftment of underprivileged communities.
Our work and its impact
At Kanbi Foundation, our primary focus areas include is Education & Skill Development. We provide career guidance, distribute educational materials, and collaborate with Tata Strive on skill development programs. These initiatives enable underprivileged youth to access better career opportunities and break the cycle of poverty.
Through these efforts, we empower students, offer support to those in need, promote environmental conservation, and foster the development of sustainable infrastructure. Our goal is to uplift communities, promote self-reliance, and contribute to social progress.
How we will utilise these books
The funds raised through this campaign will be used to provide children's storybooks from Pratham Books, which will be distributed to underserved children across Maharashtra, particularly in Panvel.
These books will have a far-reaching impact by:
- Providing Educational Support: The books will be distributed to children in remote and economically disadvantaged areas, ensuring they have access to essential reading materials to aid their academic growth.
- School Kit Distribution: The storybooks will form a key part of school kits provided to students from low-income families, helping reduce educational disparities and ensuring that these children have the tools they need to succeed in their studies.
- Promoting Literacy and Academic Excellence: By supplying these books, we aim to foster a love for learning, improve literacy rates, and inspire children to excel academically. This will empower them to perform better in school and lay the foundation for long-term educational success.
