Who we are
Trust has started its project for Children, last year as 'बाल शिक्षा - जागरुकता अभियान' , Under this project, the trust also aims to open children libraries in different parts of the country, where the children will have free and easy access to the books. With the support of Pratham books and other organizations , we have purchased many a books and have been able to open libarary for children in Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya, Umagarh, Uttarakhand. `
Our work and its impact
Sahityayan Trust was established on 4th September,2015. Trust has its 11 members and 20 volunteers working in different parts of the country. Trust aims to work in the field of child education with establishing library for the underprivileged. It has opened a library in Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya, Umagarh, Ramgarh, Uttarakhand in 2016. Next, It aims to open a library in April,2017 in Baniya tola madhya vidyalaya, Katihar, Bihar and Ramanandi Orphanage, Bhagalpur, Bihar.
How we will utilise these books
Sahityayan Trust's mission is to provide books, colourful and interesting books for the children who have no excess to books . It has established its first library in Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya, Umagarh, Ramgarh, Uttarakhand in 2016. Books have ben purchased from various organizations like NBT and pratham books, and it has benefited students from age group 6-12. Around 60 students have got access to colourful books like those, they have never seen such interesting books in their lives. Our aim is to give them more of it. Next, It aims to open a library in April,2017 in Baniya tola madhya vidyalaya, Katihar, Bihar and Ramanandi Orphanage, Bhagalpur, Bihar. Children from age group 6-18 will be benefited from this. Sahityayan Trust aims to set up 2 libraries in Aril, 2017 in Baniya tola madhya vidyalaya, Katihar, Bihar and Ramanandi Orphanage, Bhagalpur, Bihar respectively. It aims to provide more and more books in hindi and english . Books which might be able to build up interest for reading in them.
