Who we are

We are rural development professionals working for the betterment of the education, livelihood, and healthcare sectors in rural Maharashtra. Our primary goal is to awaken the inherent potential in Maharashtra’s rural population and bring them closer to modern education and healthcare resources.

Our work and its impact

We run Community Learning Centres (CLCs) in various villages with the help of our volunteers. These centres play a critical role in improving the reading and writing abilities of students visiting the centres. The Covid-19 pandemic has posed a challenge to the continuity of their education, but we are finding ways to ensure their education remains uninterrupted.

How we will utilise these books

Our Community Learning Centres are safe spaces for students to meet and engage in activity-based learning. The funds raised from this campaign will help us get multilingual storybooks from Pratham Books. We believe the books will help the children develop an interest in participating in reading and writing-based activities. Further, we believe that reading storybooks will also improve their emotional and social intelligence, creative thinking skills, critical thinking skills, and more. We have set up one library and are currently in the process of setting up ten more. During these difficult times, underprivileged communities need our support more than ever to ensure children don’t drop out of school or lose interest in their studies.
