Who we are

We at Samarpan Foundation run nine free underprivileged schools in New Delhi. These schools serve as a stepping-stone between survival for daily existence and the formal education system. Most of these schools are in Bastis and we want to provide these children with opportunity to read better and learn more. It will be a great infrastructure for them and would attract more children to our school redirecting their energy from roaming to streets and coming to an education system.

Our work and its impact

Samarpan Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 2006. We work to provide global support of any kind where there is a humanitarian, ecological, environmental and animal welfare need. In New Delhi, we run 9 free schools for underprivileged children. With 1410 children with us at present in these schools, we are working towards giving them a better tomorrow!

How we will utilise these books

Samarpan Foundation works on principle 'doing what needs to be done'. In New Delhi, we work in the field of education, nutrition, women empowerment etc. We have nine free schools in Delhi where children come from most underprivedge background. Most of them are first generation to learn in their families. There was no culture of education and most never knew what a 'school' is before they came to Samarpan Schools. Our first school completed its 8 years in 2015; alumini of which are in studying in University today. We are able to empower children through education and make them aware that education can assist them to come out of cycle of poverty. The funds will be utilized for the purchase of Books in Libraries across existing and new schools run by Samarpan Foundation.
