Our story

Roshni Educational Society was founded in the year 2007 with a view to providing quality education to the underprivileged children of the area. The project, started with eight to ten children, has now a strength of 250 students. Most of the students are first generation learners and nearly 50 students have been sponsored by us for studying in regular CBSE affiliated schools for their higher classes. At present we are running two centres in Faridabad. We, as guardians of the students studying in other schools, take care of their academic performance and progress.

Who we are

We are a team of committed people with founder an Associate Professor in a reputed college in Faridabad. Transforming lives of children is the passion of the team. Providing a conducive environment and all the supporting resources to the students is the uppermost goal of the Roshni Society so that they can realize their full potential.

Our work and its impact

Hundreds of children have become literate with our efforts and this has led to tremendous change in the lives of these children and their families. Health, hygiene, gender the and values of hard work and honesty are taught to them in play way method.

How we will utilize these funds

We will use funds to buy books. Reading is one habit which can bring a great change in the lives of children. We will refurbish our already established libraries. The old books will be donated to government schools in the area. Every week we have one day fixed for the reading of books by children and teachers. We are hopeful that if we catch them young this exposure to good quality books will enhance learning, knowledge and confidence of such children.
