Our story

The concept of education promotion of poor&deprived section is assuming importance these days with the advancement of rural & urban development initiative. The initiative for education promotion of DONATE-A-BOOK is a welcome step under this circumstance. Accordingly we, AYVS a reputed NGO working for education promotion and other socioeconomic development of the deprived sections hereby proposed to implement a project with the objective to contribute towards promotion of quality education of poor and deprived children of the society for achieving education promotion initiative with the financial assistance of DONATE-A-BOOK in district of Hardoi in the State Uttar Pradesh.

Who we are

ADARSH YUVA VIKAS SAMITI is a non-profit, non-political voluntary organizations registered under Societies Registration Act 1860. The organization has been working in the various districts of Uttar Pradesh (India) with its headquarters at Vill. Tiloiyan Khurd, Distt. Hardoi. The organization has been working for about 8 years for the welfare of poor and disadvantaged people of the community particularly rural sections of the society. The organization was established by group of women artisans and has been providing support to the disadvantaged sections of the community by encouraging their active participation at all levels so as to develop a self reliant society with a focus on socio- economic empowerment of the community especially women as decision makers in the developments process.

Our work and its impact

The main objective of the organization is to work for the overall development of the deprived and disadvantaged communities irrespective of casts creed and religion so that they may contribute positively and become part of development process. For achieving this objective, Adarsh yuva vikas Samiti has taken up several projects/programmers through which disadvantaged/ vulnerable sections of the society, through their active involvement at all levels, could develop confidence and be able to manage their own affairs and in turn become self reliant and become part of development efforts.

How we will utilize these funds

Adarsh Yuva Vikas Samiti aims to set up 20 new libraries (LIC) by the end of year 2018. The collected funds will be utilized for buying books for children in Hindi, English and Urdu. We also aim to start a book-lending program in remote areas with a membership of Rs. 1/-. These funds would help cover the costs of the logistics for this program.
